My career has been spent working on how to best optimise the performance of people in a variety of technically demanding, fast paced, geographically and culturally complex businesses. Starting in the public sector, I subsequently worked in the rail, automotive, energy, utilities, manufacturing and technology sectors, culminating in transformation roles leading HR functions in US corporations and UK plcs, latterly at IMI plc. Structural, corporate and individual change and development have always been constants to be embraced.
It has become ever clearer to me the performance shifts and new avenues that individuals can achieve with the right support around them. Being able to focus on this and work in genuine depth with clients to make real progress to a degree that was hard to achieve in-house is a genuine pleasure and motivator for me.
