I came to work at Stork & May because the firm is unique in the way that it is able to add value to people and businesses. My clients get straightforward, honest advice from someone who understands both the business issues and the emotional dimension.
Before joining Stork & May I worked in manufacturing, real estate, insolvency and restructuring, as well as executive search and leadership development. I gained an international perspective advising the World Economic Forum on leadership issues and I have spent many years working in global firms, travelling extensively. This has equipped me to be tough, commercial, knowledgeable and well connected – and at the same time insightful about people and the challenges that come with being successful. I bring some or all of this experience to every client.
However successful you are, there is always more you could be achieving. Tennis players don’t drop their coach once they’re at the top of their game. In fact, that’s when they have their highest potential. A client once said to me, “You helped me see myself as the world saw me, understand why the world saw me that way, and what that means I can do in the world.” That sums it up well – and hearing a client say that is the best feeling in the world.
